Youth Basketball
Our Youth Basketball league is a seasonal ministry that occurs each winter for kids in grades 1-6. It is typically broken up into three divisions: grades 1-2, 3-4, 5-6. Our intention is for this to be a welcoming and instructional league for children of all skill levels. The league begins with a skills assessment in mid November (see dates below) and progresses through early March, concluding with a tournament for the older two divisions!

If you have used our registration system before, use the “Login” button there since your child/children are already in our system. If you are new to our league, use the “Register” button to create an account and see the registration options.

REGISTRATION INFO
Registration will be open until November 18, 2025. Walk-ins on evaluation night are welcome.
• Early Bird Registration (deadline: October 31) – $60
• Regular Registration (deadline: November 18) – $75
DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE
• Family Discount: We offer $5 off for each additional child registered.
• Coaching Discount: Each head coach will receive a $50 discount for his/her child. There is a $10 discount for assistant coaches.
• Jersey Discount: If your child has a jersey from a previous year that still fits, we offer a $10 discount. Each child must have
his/her own jersey.
• Scholarships: A number of scholarships are available in case of financial need. Please contact the league director.
(A Head Coach registering with the Early Bird Discount and using a jersey from a previous year could register their child at no cost.)
MANDATORY EVALUATION DATES
• 1st & 2nd grade: Tuesday, November 18, 5:30-6:30pm
• 3rd & 4th grade: Tuesday, November 18, 6:30-7:30pm
• 5th & 6th grade: Tuesday, November 18, 7:30-8:30pm
IMPORTANT DATES
• Coaches Meeting: Tuesday, December 2, 7:00pm
• First Day Of Practice: Monday, December 15
• First Game: Saturday, January 17
• Picture Day: Saturday, January 10
• Closing Tournament (3rd-6th Grade): Saturday, February 28
All events will be held at Salem First Friends Church. All practices will be held Monday or Tuesday evening, and Saturday mornings until games begin. All games will be held on Saturdays.
