We are excited to officially launch our new leadership structure with our first Celebration & Vision Meeting on Tuesday, August 26th at 6pm. Read on for more details!

As a reminder, here is the description of the Celebration & Vision event from the updated structure:

– These meetings will include all Ministry Staff members, all Elders, and all Coordinators.

– These meetings will focus on celebrating the Lord’s work in and through the ministry of FFC. There will be 1-2 stories chosen ahead of time by our Ministry Staff to be highlighted with a brief report to all those gathered.

– These meetings will also offer opportunities for Ministry Staff and/or Elders to share new or updated vision for the ministry and mission of FFC. This could include events coming in the next 6 months, or even longer-range goals.

– A meal will be provided.

– Prior to each of these meetings, Coordinators and Ministry Staff Members will provide written reports (via email) to the Lead Pastor. These reports should include highlights from the previous 6 months, and plans for the next 6 months. The reports will be compiled by the Lead Pastor and made available to all present at the C&V Meeting, as well as to the congregation (at a later date) as a digital document via a download link in announcements, bulletin, and email.

So, please do the following to prepare for the upcoming C&V Meeting:

– Mark your calendar for Tuesday night, August 26th! If you are unable to attend due to a prior commitment, please reach out to Pastor Pete via phone call, text, or email.

– If you are a Coordinator or member of the Ministry Staff, prepare your report as described above. The length of the report can vary depending on what you would like to highlight from the past 6 months of ministry and what’s up next for you. Even a few short sentences about the recent past and upcoming future are fine. It can be formatted however you’d like (i.e. paragraph form, bullet list, etc). If you have nothing to report from the past 6 months and nothing on the horizon for the upcoming 6 months, please text/email Pastor Pete relaying that message. Reports should be emailed to Pastor Pete (petefowler@salemfirstfriends.org) by noon on Monday, August 25th to allow time for preparation of the combined report document for Tuesday night. Reports may be sent as attachments to an email (Word documents or PDF documents only, please), typed directly into the body of an email, or shared via an online document like Google Docs.
