What do Sunday mornings look like at Salem First Friends?

Sunday Worship Gatherings

If you’re new to First Friends or are just considering visiting us on a Sunday morning, then this page will help you figure out what to expect. On a typical Sunday morning at First Friends Church, we have two identical services (8:30am and 11:00am) and a time in between for Children’s Sunday School and Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) classes. To learn more about what to expect musically on Sunday Mornings, you can find more information on the Music Ministries page. After the 8:30 service (just before Sunday School), there are always coffee, cappuccinos, and light snack items available for all to enjoy. Finally, we have an 11:00 service during which our kids in grades 1-6 are invited to attend Kid Connection. They will typically be dismissed from the main service just prior to the sermon.

During the 8:30 service, our nursery is available for infants and toddlers.

During the 9:45 ABF/Sunday School hour, our nursery remains open for infants and toddlers while Sunday School is provided for all remaining children.

During the 11:00 service, nursery and child care is available for all ages, and is broken up into three groups: infants, toddlers, and PreK/Kindergarden. Children in grades 1-6 are invited to attend Kid Connection during the sermon portion of the 11:00 service.
